The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), launched the novel Green Bond Guidelines to regulate the issuance of green bonds in Ghana. The initiative was aimed at promoting the role of the financial market in the financing of projects that meet the environmental development needs of Ghana.
